Elsa Recycling, Stockport

Local family run paper and plastic recycling company, Elsa, purchased the site adjacent to their premises to rationalise and contain its existing operation. P4 led on the redevelopment of both pieces of land to set out to the Council that the proposals would provide better on-site circulation, efficient storage facilities, with less impact on the local highway network and neighbours. The proposal was initially met with friction from nearby residents however P4 led successful engagement with the local community and ward councillors over an extended consultation period which helped clarify benefits and justification behind the development.  The planning approval will now enable Elsa to invest its future development, benefitting the local area and assisting sustainable waste efforts across the North West and beyond.
